Anyone who is following up my journey with Angular will know how much I and the guys at ashutec love the Angular framework. And there’s a reason why we do so and have mentioned it many times in our earlier posts as well. You can find them here:
The framework has been a staple in the world of JavaScript-based frameworks and enjoys a tremendous amount of popularity from across the globe. It has seen a fair share of updates and improvements. I have already discussed the revolutionary improvements brought by Angular 13.
What I have never discussed here is the business benefits of using the Angular frontend framework and what type of applications can be built using it. Before we start with the business benefits of Angular, let’s learn the features offered by the framework for enterprises.
Developers can build lightweight apps rapidly and reliably using the Angular framework. Also, it uses Lazy Scripting to load modules only when needed. Furthermore, some of the module packages are taken out of the Angular core. This ensures the faster and lighter performance of web apps even on mobile devices.
Angular is one of the best cross development platforms when it comes to developing and writing codes for web and mobile. The codes may only require little to no modification.
Since we know that Angular is based on TypeScript which is a superset of ECMAScript 6 (ES6). The language has an advanced type-checking feature, meaning that the mistakes can be noticed and resolved even before they happen. This enables developers to build large-scale applications by avoiding compile-time errors.
Developing applications using the Angular framework significantly reduces the time to develop applications. Building prototypes and MVPs are quite easy and quick. Further, it improves the productivity of developers. Businesses that use and build applications on Angular get more things done in less time.
Angular has a component-based architecture that is modules. This enables the framework to organize the application functionality by separating them into pieces that can be reused. Each piece of data is responsible for one feature that stays independent from the system and APIs.
Thus, maintaining it becomes easier for the development teams. They can even swap components with one another without rewriting the entire code.
Angular is a scalable framework that can develop applications of any size capable of handling the sudden rise in traffic and unexpected growth in users. Also, it’s known to develop high-quality applications that meet business requirements. Through Angular apps, businesses can offer a great user experience and get better results in return.
Angular’s efficient problem-solving thanks to its CLI is what most businesses and developers value a lot. It has some of the best problem-solving patterns to quickly help resolve any bottlenecks businesses might encounter during the development phase.
Another great thing about CLI of Angular is that it makes the development process more productive. More productivity leads to reduced development time and fewer costs. Developers would spend less time writing codes as the dependency on 3rd-party is eliminated.
Each penny saved in development adds up to the massive savings after the project ends.
In my view, Angular is currently the best choice for quickly and efficiently developing frontend projects. It’s a perfect fit for developing scalable and high-performance web frontends. Here are some web frontend projects that can benefit from Angular:
Enterprise apps have very complex workflows and require a framework that fits perfectly into their needs. The features and performance offered by the framework enable the app to handle a large amount of data and operations.
On top of this, it offers support for TypeScript language, making it more suitable for large-scale application development.
Projects that utilize dynamic content can be better handled by the Angular framework. Thus, it is perfect for creating news applications, social media applications, and other types of apps that require dynamic content types.
Since eCommerce app frontends are large and complex in nature, Angular seems perfect for developing such types of applications. As mentioned earlier, Angular is way better than anything else to handle large data and complex operations.
PWAs are currently in demand and Angular is a versatile platform that can also be utilized for PWA development. Angular offers various features and performance for fast and responsive application development. Also, with the new CLI tools of Angular, it’s more than easy to build progressive web applications.
Angular is an excellent framework if used in the right way can offer immense benefits for businesses. It is one of the most common choices for creating fast and responsive applications. The framework has come a long way since its inception and is also getting better with time.
